Katie Rae is the founding CEO and managing partner of The Engine, a venture capital firm launched by MIT that invests in early-stage companies. Rae also cofounded Project 11 Ventures and served as managing director of Techstars Boston. She has advised hundreds of founders and invested in more than 100 companies.

She holds an MBA from Yale University and a BA in Biology from Oberlin College.
